I would stay in, man. Go back and read your last relapse thread.
There’s a lot more at stake than hiccups, Whopper.

Caution: Chocking hazard.

Grab your self a couple of slices of white bread, and chew and swallow them one at a time.. and be careful not to choke yourself in the process.

I do this and chew and swallow them rather quickly, thus the be careful doing it thing.

This works every time for me.. They go away quickly and I guess it has something to do with sedating your spasm in your diaphragm.

Be careful and good luck..
I kinda feel there’s got to be better ways to deal with hiccups than risking choking yourself, Bass…especially if you’re drinking

I've not had hiccups in a long time, you're going to have to let it pass.

Staying off the booze will help.

I had them many years ago for 3 solid days, even while sleeping. They did go away. This was literally 20-ish years ago, but I do know I was drinking at the time, though not crazily. I even went to the doctor and there was nothing they could do. Holding your breath for a long time might help. It does for me with regular hiccups.

It was a been there done that moment Dee.. Clarifying the don't choke thing was important, I stressed that a bit much!!

I certainly wouldn't feel good if Whopper (Hello Whopper) would have had a bad experience on my behalf..

I hope they subside soon.
Maybe add this to the list of things to play forward next time you think of picking up a drink?

I feel awful that I drank. Getting some anxiety right now. I have no alcohol in the house and I will be staying at home for the rest of the day.

Sounds good Whopper - maybe its a good chance now to reflect on what made you drink again, and how you might do things differently next time?
