I went to West Torrance High School briefly after moving to CA from Michigan. Culture shock! LOL. My Sis lives there now with youngest daughter living near buy. Another Sis, my eldest, lived in Palos Verdes for a while with her husband and three kids I know the area like the back of my hand.

Another example of a small world Zencat! I grew up and spent 99% of my life in the San Gabriel Valley, my roots and feeling of Home are here. Ken & I lived for a couple of years near the old lighthouse (Korean Bell) in San Pedro.
We moved back home to SGV when our son was born. Lived those 30 years in our little “Village” of SM. Just 10,000 people, absolutely no stop lights. 2 MAIN business streets. Loved . Loved. Loved. After those decades, I was feeling like a “local”. 💝
Now, for the last almost 2 years we’re in the Walteria area of Torrance. It’s SO darn crowded! And with jillions of LONG stop lights, the traffic, airport & PCH noise are a few blocks from us. These tract homes are SO close to each other … sigh ….
It’s my karma to be here now.
My sister & I decided to keep my parents home and 10 of the 20 acres. We’ll lease it out for awhile (sis is right next door .. she’s part of the 10 acre plot) and pray Ken will move us up here one year. Frankly, at this moment in time, he wouldn’t leave.
His business is in Torrance (30+ years). His Band & Gigs are in the SGV. We aren’t rich, so can’t live in 2 places. 🤷🏻♀️
I’ll have to wait to see what the Universe opens up.
