Zen, I loved your post on May 22. I needed to read that today. My mind is going round and round with a situation that I can't control. Ugh.
Sometimes I can't help my thoughts much so I'm trying to get busy with tasks.
So off to strip a bed, start some laundry and get into a cc account.

DD the loyalty and bond between dog to man/woman and man/woman to dog is the strongest there is. We go back 40,000 - 100,000 years back together? IDK
Cats, we cohabit the same space each thinking this is my home. My cat shows affection to me as I return the same. Ry reminds me of my true nature, I'm an animal too, I'm just more evolved than my DNA cousin the chimpanzee. From looking at the news I question whether humans are not that much more intelligent from chimps.
BKA, "act as if" works in the head very well. You have to believe to make it work. Letting go emotionally is not the same as forgetting. I forget things of no consequence and let go of things that have great meaning. I may change the meaning of the event to help me let go, a perspective shift can do that.

Hi Zen! Hope all is well with you and Ry! My nephews are graduating this weekend in your neck of the woods. Glad to hear the weather is cooler down there than up here. My poor sister's knees are really bothering her. I hope she gets around ok. I hope the boys have a great graduation.
