Fingers crossed and praying for you today, Alpine, for a NED result and good health. Wishing you many joyful years ahead of canoeing, camping, and any outdoor activities that your heart desires.
Great news. Just what I wanted to hear. Hope you're ok today with the let down, etc. Try to go with what your body tells you, especially if you're tired.
Sending prayers and love to my gal pal. So grateful for your friendship. What you've been through so bravely and graciously. I admire that. Take the best care of yourself. Give Riley pup a hug and a pet for me. 💗

Thanks all for all of your support, it sure has been a bumpy road but as I have said would have been unnavigable if I were drinking. Blood test and oncology appointment was this morning. All is good. Will see her again in a few months.

Me too, a daily douse of SR and an attitude of how I think, act, and become to have a brand new since of who I am. I even changed my worldview to match the new self-worth I have. I remember in an AA meeting the person said change everything when you're newly sober to remind you of your new sober journey each and every day." Change Everything" seems like a tall order, no? I leant forward into the new changes. I realized I was falling and became very afraid. Then I come to understood there is no ground.
Why, is it that olde habits, no matter how self-destructive and repetitive they are persist? Because they are familiar and easy to do.
