One Year And Under Part 72
Hi :-)
hi samwitch (have some of my rain)
Day 18 - slept for 14 hours and still tired (I'm repairing I guess) ... but everyday feels like Sunday ?
been robbed on ebay (again) - it used to be about 1 in 200 were scammers - now it is about 1 in 12 (Britain is degenerating back to barbarism)
anyway - well done if you did another day :-)

Sorry to hear that Red, was it as a seller or a buyer you were robbed? Too few people are caught by the system so everyone with a criminal bent feels it's ok to steal from the helpless. I hope you begin to feel more yourself soon. And on the plus side, I'd rather every day felt like a Sunday than a Monday!
Hi :-)
Day 20 - backsliding (not booze ... it was SUGAR) - the molecules are very similar and many of the adverse effects are identical
I don't know what came over me - yesterday, in one day I had 5 creme patissier (creamy custard) sugar doughnuts, a big bag of sweets (candy), and large bottle of full sugar ginger beer. It was great to eat but later I had a racing heart, body shaking, and frightening confusion ... and the hangover I had when I woke up today was brutal ...
I guess sugar is a gateway drug back into alcohol - I am shocked at my weakness - I know sugar in quantity is poison for alcoholics, and that it awakens alcoholic addiction and causes hideous hangovers ... still - the doughnuts especially were fantastic (if only I could have just had one)
I am feeling the pain of shame the most - but at least I know what I did wrong but not why I did it (it was deliberate self-harm)
I am going to reflect on what I love about myself and what I hate about myself, and try to mitigate the hate with positive steps ...
anyway - well done if you did another day :-)

Hi :-)
Day 21 - still a bit hungover from the sugar binge
in Britain it is cold dark and wet (we have had the worst July on record for horrible weather) and the monthly forecast for August is - cloudy and rainy every day for the entire month
anyway - well done if you did another day :-)

Here around the German/Dutch border July was both quite wet and breezy aswell and I LOVE IT!
Last year between the beginning of June and the middle of September we got a lot of heat and didn't have a day below 24 degrees Celsius.
That weather gets on my nerves so much.
If climate change really does go bad in the upcoming 20 years or so, I am moving to Norway.
I am still quite heavy on the sugar intake every now and then, almost 300 days sober. Can't really care at the moment, as long as I am off booze, everything is fine to me.

Red, I had SIX giant cookies tonight. 🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪🍪
it is okay, it’s okay.
Great job, Sam, CSC, nellwall, all of you!
keep on keeping in, ODAAT. Sometimes by the seconds.
Lots of love,
♥️🤓

Red don't be too hard on yourself, there's a lot of sugars in alcohol so cravings for sugar are not unusual, you e read here of the issues others have had with ice cream etc. better to sugar binge than go back to alcohol, and you recognised it for what it was. Let the guilt go and find a way to 'reward' yourself with a sugary treat from time to time?
Hi :-)
day 22 - I must have caught something - I have a snotty nose and aching bones (so maybe my recent incapacity is not alcohol or sugar punishment)
I've noticed all the old people round my way are dead (heart attacks and strokes) - l live semi-rural and there used to be a bunch of us moaning about demon children making noise and being loutish - suddenly they are all dead - the old folks not the demons (well, over the past year) and commies have moved into their homes ...
the world is changing ...

Hi :-)
Hi Samwitch
day 25
tomorrow is projected to be the coldest August day on record (frost is expected) - the UK is some sort of reverse Hell where everything is turning to ice ...
I'm making a giant cottage pie with Brussels sprouts in it - I'm really loving Brussels sprouts at the moment (the weather - not so much)
anyway - well done if you did another day :-)

hi :-)
Day 26
sam/toots = I'm mashing the sprouts in with the potato (also mashed in with carrots and swede) and baking in oven to get crispy top
this is a real pic of Germany today this year (snow drifts):
I think there was a frost in northern Britain in the early morning but I was in bed with my woolen bed socks on and did not see it
I'm still feeling a bit rough alcohol-quit-wize (I might be full of nano-bots from the CIA jabs - and they are creating clots in my fatty organs)
anyway - well done if you did another day :-)
