In 2013, after several turbulent and chaotic months involving drug abuse, cheating rumors and separation, Khloe Kardashian filed divorce papers against her basketball husband Lamar Odom in order to end their four-year marriage.
In August of 2013, Lamar was arrested and charged with a DUI. He entered rehab shortly after the incident but checked out a day later.
Khloe has appeared to be a key figure in trying to help Lamar end his issues with substance abuse, but sources close to the couple reported that Lamar refuses support and any type of help for his drug addiction.
The decline of this relationship seemed especially toxic when during an episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Khloe finally admitted, “I kept on hiding every time there was something going on. I would have to lie, or conceal, or cover up, and I'm so over it.”
As of today, the divorce has still not been finalized.
